Ripple’s XRP coin fell 4% for the second day in a row and is now just eight cents above $ 1.
After falling for the past 24 hours, XRP – which broke the symbolic $ 1 mark nearly two weeks ago and then rose to $ 1.30 – was down 11% last Friday morning.
Proof-of-stake blockchain platform Cardano followed a 6% decline in the past 24 hours and fell another 3%.
At the time of writing (7am UK) his ADA token is worth $ 2.55 and is pretty much where it was a week ago. Before last Friday, however, it made big profits again – and is now the third most valuable crypto.
Market leader Bitcoin (BTC) has barely moved and is also where it was a week ago, just under $ 47,100.
Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, has fallen slightly and remains just above $ 3,100. It’s down 4% over seven days.
Binance Coin (BNB) fell 2% to $ 477 but is 11% above its value last Friday morning.

The Dogecoin (DOGE) meme coin lost another 3% of its value, dropping to 27c. In seven days, it’s down 14%.
The cryptocurrency market fell 0.7%, with the nearly 11,400 coins now valued at $ 2.01 trillion.
