Hanoi, Vietnam, 1st 21st, 2022 – Heroes of Mavia, a blockchain-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game developed by Skrice Studios, is pleased to announce the closing of its $5.5 million seed funding round. The project will use the proceeds to develop the game, attract top talent and grow the community.
The seed round included well-known venture capital firms that have shown strong interest in blockchain games. This round was led by Binance Labs with other investors including Genblock Capital, Delphi Digital, Mechanism Capital, Alameda Research, Animoca Brands, Yield Guild Games, Yield Guild Games Southeast Asia, Exnetwork Capital, Double Peak Group, Merit Circle, and HashKey Capital many more.

The game is based on the Ethereum network and takes place on a fantasy island called Mavia where the player commands a base. The goal of each player is to expand his base and army with resources gained by attacking other people’s bases. It promises to change the gaming landscape with non-fungible tokens (NFT) with its intricate mechanics, exciting gameplay, and unique monetization features.
Heroes of Mavia delivers triple-A quality graphics and brings cutting-edge features to GameFi. It allows any base in the Mavia ecosystem to be streamed live during attacks and defenses. All battles are permanently recorded and can be viewed by anyone forever.
To begin, players must occupy at least one property through one of three methods: own land, rent land, or partner with a landowner. A lot can contain only one base in the game. By allowing players to rent from a landowner or a partner with them, the game makes it easy to get started with little to no upfront capital.
Heroes of Mavia uses a dual token model, with the MAVIA governance token giving holders the ability to vote on key decisions and determine the future of the Mavia game. The MAVIA token is also used to buy, sell and rent NFTs on the Mavia marketplace.
RUBY is the playable token in Heroes of Mavia. Players earn RUBY by battling enemy armies and bases. The token is used for more than a dozen in-game purchases, NFT upgrades, skins and decorations.

Heroes of Mavia is a triple-A MMO strategy game where players can buy land, build a base and compete against other players for the in-game token RUBY. There are three NFT types in the game – Land, Heroes, and Statues – and all of them can be bought and sold in the Mavia Marketplace.
