After the $ 10 million Series A round in late July, bitcoin reward company Lolli announced a partnership with ticket agency Stubhub. According to the announcement, the partnership will give users the opportunity to earn up to 6% in Bitcoin rewards when purchasing tickets to sporting events, concerts, and theater performances.
Bitcoin Rewards Company Lolli cooperates with the ticket marketplace Stubhub
On August 15, Lolli announced that the company was working with the Stubhub ticket marketplace. Stubhub is a popular American ticket exchange and resale company founded in 2000 by Eric Baker and Jeff Fluhr.
Shortly before the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, Viagogo acquired Stubhub for $ 4.05 billion. This week, Stubhub announced that it is joining the 1,000+ retailers Lolli has built relationships with as Lolli works with a number of big-name companies including Kroger, Best Buy and Microsoft.
Stubhub’s Head of Partnerships, Dave Huff, said the company sees how transparent and innovative technology has transformed live events.
“Stubhub has revolutionized the live events industry by using technology to create transparency, security and choice for secondary ticket buyers,” Huff said in a statement. “We are committed to continuously innovating to improve the fan experience and we look forward to working with Lolli to bring our customers this new and industry-unique opportunity.”
Crypto cashback solutions have been a popular trend in the crypto ecosystem for quite some time. In addition to developing the application, Lolli works with companies to advance the business model.
Alex Adelman, the CEO and co-founder of Lolli, said during the announcement that the company looks forward to partnering with Stubhub to “offer free bitcoins for millions of ticket sales.”
“Almost everyone in the world loves live music, sports and theater, and now Lolli.com users can earn Bitcoin by doing the things they love,” Adelman said. “This partnership is an important milestone for Lolli in expanding our reach to live events and we are excited to give people even more opportunities to earn and own Bitcoin,” added the Lolli manager.
