Cardano becomes the inspiration for Snoop Dogg’s son’s new music album
Champ Medici, son of world-famous rapper Snoop Dogg and well-known crypto enthusiast, has released a new music album whose main theme is Cardano and his most famous NFT project Clay Mates. It’s the young artist’s first release since he officially joined the Clay Nation team in August this year. The new mini-album is titled Clay Nation Tapes Vol. I and consists of three tracks: Manifest, ADA Dreams and Lil Flex’n. In all three, Medici describes his crypto experience with panache and enthusiasm. Judging by the album’s title, it won’t be the last musical collaboration between Champ Medici and Clay Nation. However, the release date of the second part of the album is still unknown.
Ripple scoops 50 million XRP into another wallet, that’s what it means for the market
Yesterday, WhaleStats, a crypto transaction tracker, discovered a total of nearly 582 million XRP in motion. Among those staggering amounts of Ripple-related tokens was a 50 million XRP transaction to an anonymous wallet conducted by Ripple. However, according to another tracker, Bithomp, this huge chunk of XRP was sent to Ripple’s own alternate address, RL18-VN. The address will be used to send XRP beyond the fintech giant — to institutional clients and exchanges to sell or support the coin’s liquidity, and to custody wallets like BitGo. This means that Ripple is preparing to circulate another 50 million XRP as the token’s price increases. XRP is currently trading at $0.4061, per CoinMarketCap.
Congressional candidate says Cardano is an efficient blockchain
In a recent tweet, January Walker, a congressional candidate and representative of the United Utah Party, called Cardano an “efficient” blockchain. She also mentioned bitcoin in her post, but the biggest crypto wasn’t praised by Walker. Instead, BTC has been cited as an example of an “inefficient” blockchain. On the first day of the week, the candidate faced some backlash on Twitter after writing that blockchains could solve the water crisis. Many users did not share their enthusiasm for the cutting-edge technology. However, she explained that it might be possible to improve sustainability, compliance and consumption management by integrating blockchain and IoT technologies.
Amazon helps burn 140 million SHIB, here’s how much is being burned across the e-commerce giant
According to @shib_superstore, a Twitter account created by Travis Johnson, the amount of SHIB burned is likely to exceed 140 million meme tokens, or $1,500 in fiat equivalent, by the end of September. The Amazon affiliate program, which Johnson began using earlier this year, will help him with that. The amount of SHIB being burned across Amazon at this rate is approximately 27,649,769 SHIB, valued at $300. Meanwhile, the pace at which the community is phasing out SHIB tokens appears to have slowed. Even if 40% of them were already sent to dead-end wallets and permanently locked in them, the price still wouldn’t explode to $1 or even $0.001 like many had hoped earlier this year.
