This announcement comes amid an intensified witch hunt against Monero (XMR) and ZCash (ZEC). As reported by U.Today, EU regulators hinted at new restrictions on combating completely anonymous wallets.
According to the statement, new restrictions will help prevent the use of cryptocurrencies for terrorist financing and money laundering.
